While I’m not new to the blogging world, it feels very different to push the publish button on this post. For over 10 years I’ve shared my event design and planning experience through my company Lemiga Events with glimpses of my personal life. I always wanted the stories of my clients and their events to be in the forefront. And I struggled to find a way to talk about my personal life if a way that seemed natural and fit in with my business.
What I love most about the online space is the ability to connect and create community. This social media thing becomes really special when we are able to share in a way that helps each other. I’m excited to launch MichelleGainey.com as a place where I can share my highs and lows, successes and struggles as a woman that is constantly on a journey to do life better.
So allow me to introduce myself – I’m Michelle Gainey, a wife, mother, friend, and entrepreneur, trying to make the most of every day to create a life that is full of love and a little bit of magic. Life isn’t perfect. My house is often loud and messy, but with lots of laughter, hugs, and great memories.
Even in the midst of a crazy life, I strive to find the balance between celebrating the simple pleasures in an ordinary day and crafting stylish and meaningful experiences to grow personal connections. I aim to inspire you – despite your hectic schedule – to dream, love, and celebrate life! Follow my journey with content centered around my family life, home entertaining, style, travel, and personal favorites. And I can’t wait to get to know you as well!

International event designer/planner extraordinar! Wife, Mother, Daughter Sister, Caregiver, Confidant, Friend….these are just a few of the roles describing the uncompromising Michelle Gainey! To say I am proud of her would be an understatement. As her mother and her greatest cheerleader, I am overwhelmed by her tenacity and her eye for producing extraordinarily extravagant occasions for her clients. I can’t wait to see what Michelle unveils to all of us as her vision for the next great experience unfolds.

To say that I am incredibly proud of my cousin is a gross understatement. Event planning is in her blood. I can attest to this since she used to plan events for all of us cousins when we were much younger playing in our grandparents’ backyard in small town Woodbibe, NJ. She loves what she does and she’s a perfectionist at what she does. She never disappoints and she puts her clients’ needs and visions to the forefront when she plans their events. She’s one of the hardest working mom’s I know.
I am so so proud of her and look forward to seeing even greater doors and opportunities come her way.

Thank you Keisha! Have your support and knowing you’re cheering me on really means a lot! I didn’t know what planning those field days in the backyard would turn into LOL, but I’m so grateful I get to use my talents to impact others!
