Whether a party or a networking event, I always love any reason to get dressed up! It can be hard to find inspiration on what to wear to fit the occasion, especially as the weather cools down. But today we’ve got you covered! From stylish and comfy to dressy and dramatic, there’s an option for every style. We’ve teamed up with talented fashion designer Abbey Glass, makeup guru Erica Bogart, and the amazing accessory designer Mel Boteri to bring you all something very special. We’ve decided to keep it all local. Instead of going to the mall to pick out something that everyone has, we wanted to highlight all of the talent we have right here in our city at our fingertips. An Atlanta based fashion designer, makeup artist, and handbag designer!
Abbey Glass has been designing since the tender age of nine years old. An Atlanta native at heart, Abbey Glass’ designs exude southern charm fused with a fierceness that you would find on the runway’s of any fashion week across the globe. Abbey was a finalist in the Supima Design Competition runway show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in September 2012, which kick started her career. Today she and her team work out of a full service atelier and boutique-style showroom that is based right here in the city of Atlanta, in Buckhead to be exact! You can find all of these exquisite pieces from Abbey Glass either online (abbey-glass.myshopify.com) or the brands first flagship store which is located in Atlanta’s Ponce City Market.
Mel Boteri is an Atlanta based one of a kind handbag & accessory designer. Each piece is personally sourced from the finest European leathers, fabrics and hardware for every collection, all of which are handcrafted in the Mediterranean region of Alicante, Spain. Mel Boteri is dedicated to creating designs that are daring, yet sophisticated made with only the finest materials that will insure each piece last a lifetime, and will never go out of style!
Beauty extraordinaire, Erica Bogart is sharing some of her favorite holiday makeup with us. Born in New York and based in Atlanta, Erica has more than fourteen years of experience in the competitive field of makeup artistry. This talented artist travels locally, throughout the U.S. and internationally to fulfill bookings with individual and/or celebrity clients, photographers, magazines, corporations, and television networks.
Be the life of the party in a show stopping bold print. We’ve paired these Abbey Glass designs with fabulous clutches from Mel Boteri in bold contrasting solid colors that you’re sure to love!
The Sylvia Dress in French Paisley is so fun & feminine! This beautiful color is perfect for any cocktail party.
Sign us up for anything with a high-low hemline. The Rana skirt by Abbey Glass is in bold blue floral print which makes this high-low my new obsession! We decided to add this beautiful leather clutch by Mel Betori for an unexpected twist.
Emerald green is one of my favorite hues to wear during the holidays. We paired the Iris Top with the Torri Cullottes that are not only in a beautiful shade of emerald, but also a gorgeous print! To add an element of drama to this outfit we added The Smith Cape, which will be a staple in your closet for seasons to come.
We adore these chic but comfortable cocktail party looks! For example, Abbey Glass’ Britt Skirt worn with the Jane Sweatshirt is a look that’s both chic & comfy. This grey beauty is paired with an awesome pair of short stacked heels, daring necklace, and pretty yet simple makeup by Erica Bogart. Perfect for the social butterfly that plans to hit a few parties in one night. You’ll thank us later for our choice of heels! Especially after a cocktail… or three 😉
Feminine and flowy, the Tulla Tunic by Abbey Glass looks amazing with the Gregg Pant that are in a lush shade of currant. The perfect pop of color! This is ideal for attending or hosting a party.
So, now that you’re inspired feel free to make these cocktail party looks your own. Dress them up or dress them down! Look beautiful, feel beautiful, and spread love wherever you go.
